QToolKit Data Deletion Instructions

Anyone with a QToolKit account can ask QubitBot to delete their account data and the records of any social-media account they connected, including Facebook and Instagram.

1. What this page covers

QToolKit is operated by QubitBot at social.qubitbot.cloud. This page explains how to request deletion of the data QToolKit holds about you, how that request is verified, and how long it takes. It applies to every QToolKit application, including Auto Post, which is where Facebook and Instagram accounts are connected.

2. What may be deleted

Depending on which tools you used and what you connected, a deletion request can cover:

  • Account and profile information: your email address, display name, password hash, workspace membership, role, and app permissions.
  • Connected Facebook and Instagram records: the Pages and Instagram Business or Creator accounts QToolKit discovered when you authorized the connection, their identifiers, display names, and publishing settings.
  • Encrypted OAuth tokens and credentials: access and refresh tokens, bot tokens, and any developer client you supplied. These are stored as ciphertext and are never displayed back to anyone.
  • Scheduled posts and drafts: queued and unpublished content, their attachments, schedules, and publishing history.
  • Campaigns and automation-task data: campaign records, onboarding and publishing jobs, task runs, queues, and their event trails.
  • User-owned evidence and files: uploaded media, watermark images, imported records, exported reports, and generated output stored against your account.

Some records are shared with other members of a workspace, or exist because another user created them. Those are assessed individually rather than removed automatically — see Limits.

3. How to request deletion

Two routes. Either is sufficient.

Remove a connection yourself, while signed in

If you only want to disconnect a platform, you do not need to contact anyone. Sign in, open Global Settings, and remove the connected account or the developer credential you saved. Removal takes effect immediately: QToolKit stops using that connection, and the stored token is deleted. This is the fastest way to end QToolKit’s access to a Facebook Page or an Instagram account.

Request full account and data deletion by email

To delete your QToolKit account and the data held against it, email support@qubitbot.cloud from the address your QToolKit account is registered under. Send it from that address — a request arriving from a different mailbox cannot be matched to an account and will be refused.

Include:

  • the registered email address of the QToolKit account;
  • the name of any connected Facebook Page or Instagram account the request concerns, if it does not cover everything;
  • whether you want the entire account deleted, or only specific connected records.

Never send passwords, OAuth tokens, API secrets, or other credentials by email. They are not needed to identify your account and QubitBot will not ask for them.

4. Verification

Every deletion request is verified before anything is deleted. QubitBot confirms that the request comes from the account holder — normally by checking that it was sent from the registered email address, and by asking a follow-up question where that is not conclusive. Deletion is irreversible, so an unverified request is declined rather than guessed at.

5. Timeframe

Verified requests are completed within 30 days of verification, and usually much sooner. Where a limited amount of information must be kept for a legal, security, accounting, or operational reason — fraud prevention, an unresolved dispute, or a record QubitBot is required to retain — that portion is retained for no longer than the obligation requires, is not used for any other purpose, and is removed or rendered inaccessible afterwards. Residual copies may persist briefly in protected backups until those roll over on their normal cycle.

6. This does not delete your Facebook, Instagram, or Meta account

Deleting your QToolKit data removes what QToolKit stores and ends QToolKit’s access to the platforms you connected. It does not delete your Facebook account, your Instagram account, your Meta account, your Facebook Page, or anything you have already published on those platforms. Those are controlled entirely by Meta, and only you can delete them, through Meta’s own settings.

You can also revoke QToolKit’s access directly at Meta at any time, in Facebook Settings › Apps and Websites. Doing so stops future access immediately; email us as well if you also want the records QToolKit already holds removed.

7. Limits

A request may be partly limited by another user’s rights, by workspace administration, by legal duties, or by security and fraud-prevention needs. Disconnecting a platform stops future authorized access, but it does not retract content that has already been published to that platform, and it does not delete anything held by the platform itself. Where a request cannot be fulfilled in full, QubitBot says which part and why rather than reporting the whole request as done.
